This air conditioner is controlled from a touch pad on the top of the unit or from the supplied remote control.

All air passing through the machine can be purified by using the built in UV / Ioniser feature. This cleans the air and removes particles such as pollens, moulds, spores and bacteria which is great news for allergy sufferrers.

Any collected condensate is removed automatically out of the hot air vent hose so there are no tanks to empty or separate pipes to plumb in to remove the water. In heating mode the D10KDH air conditioner is a true heat pump unit - this gives high efficiency heating without the use of inefficient electrical elements as fitted to budget units. You get 2.94kWh of heating using only 1.02kW of electrical energy!

Our Review: Nice looking unit that is really easy to set up.  In fact, within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box it was fully operational and doing its job.  We were surprised by how far the cooled air is projected as even Lewis who sits at the back of the office could feel it!  Whilst this air conditioner is portable (it has castors) you do of course have to have a window within reach of the hose. This is not just an air conditioner it is climate control  - you set the temperature you want the room at and the air conditioner does what is necessary to achieve this! For larger areas, there is the D12KDH or D14KDH models available. A nice feature also is the remote control so if you find the room a little chillier than is comfortable you don't even have to get up to change it!!
